Serere MP arrested ahead of Thursday polls

The Kasilo county (Serere) Member of Parliament Hon. Elijah Okupa, has been arrested by police and detained at Serere Police Station.

The cause of his arrest has not been disclosed by police yet but sources say he was trying to raise concerns with allegations of preticked ballots which have been smuggled into the district ahead of the polls.
